Although Brunstead is only a very small village, St Peter’s Church is still used for services three times a year, usually at Harvest, Christmas and St Peter’s Day. These services are very popular and attended by many people from Brunstead and also from the other churches in the area.
The church is locked but the key is available from Mr
Geoffrey Beck at Brunstead Hall next door to the church.
Work is progressing on transcribing records
of baptisms in Brunstead from 1813.
Please follow this link
to view the records currently transcribed.
The next service at Brunstead will be a
service of Holy Communion for the whole Benefice at 10.30am
on 30th
June to celebrate St Peter's Day.
